A question I would have asked myself 5 years ago, prior to Aloette, would have been something along those lines. I never understood the importance of toner until it shocked me to find out what my skin had been missing out on. 

After you wash your face, all of the dirt and oil in your pores come to the surface of your skin with no where to go but back into your pores. The water evaporates and that dirt is still on your face, enlarging your pores and potentially causing a blemish. Water isn’t enough to take away the left over residue on your skin, and just like your clothes need rinsing, so does your face. So what a toner does that water just can’t is it removes the leftover dirt, oil and bacteria, and creates a PH balance in your skin. All you need is a gentle cosmetic cotton pad - I recommend the massive packs they sell at Costco! 

“But toner stings my skin!” - Let me tell you if your toner, or any of your facial products are stinging your skin you need to call me immediately for a facial, seriously, it’s on me! I need to show you that your skin is just telling you that it’s extremely dry or sensitive to the products you’re using and you obviously need to stop using them! I know this because I used to have the same problem. My skin was dry (I’m talking dry patches dry), sensitive (burning, stinging, reacts with everything - including sunscreen!), yet I would get terrible breakouts on my T-Zone area. Talk about a skincare nightmare! I honestly found Aloette to be the most soothing on my skin with immediate results that I could literally see and feel in the mirror.
