Problem Skin

On a more sensitive topic and probably the worst feeling is when you have acne prone skin. I was at my doctors the other day and I saw a chart of these four stages of acne, each stage looking more and more aggressive, it was all just so unpleasant. It’s such a common thing to have, I mean everyone has breakouts here and there, but constant full blown acne is something to talk about. Being totally transparent, I’ve struggled with it for years. It’s something that you feel absolutely self conscious about and would rather wear a bag over your head until it would just clear up! But what happens when you’ve tried everything? I’ve been there, and that is even more frustrating! You hear a million stories and suggestions of what you should do and you feel like it’s a never ending battle. If you’ve agreed with me so far, often times the acne can be internal and not just an external habit that you can easily fix with some medicated topical product that your doctor prescribed. By the way, often times those products have extremely drying and harsh ingredients in them such as benzyl peroxide. But I’ll do anything, you say. If you haven’t gotten on a solid skin care routine of washing your face in 3 steps; cleanse, nourish, and moisturize, morning and night I’m definitely going to suggest you start there. Aloette sells an amazing acne skin care line called Simply Clear that lasts you approximately 3 months with no harsh, drying chemicals and ingredients. Aloette uses a unique blend of alpha and beta hydroxy and sulphur to minimize the irritation, along with moisturizing components such as vitamins A, C, and E. Even when you have oily, or acne prone skin, you still need to be moisturizing as well, especially to help heal up those recent acne scars that need those vitamins and moisture. This 4 piece oil free Simply Clear line is at least worth trying on your “I’ve tried everything” list. Trust me, the testimonies of this product are enough to give it your best try and without a doubt its one of the best products out there that you can be using on your skin for acne. I’ve talked to my dermatologist and doctor about this product and they’ve both agreed I’m using something that is going to help me in this battle. I also recommend a skin care vitamin called Perfect Skin that you can find at Shoppers Drug Mart. These vitamins are great for taking control of flare ups or even around that time of month when you can expect some breakouts. If all else fails you probably have some serious “internal” acne in which case your doctor can prescribe you something such as a two week medication to really help clear up the situation. It of course helps to be using a great external system such as the Simply Clear skin care package to assist in eliminating the acne and along side internal things you are using. But for all you sufferers out there, you’re not alone, there are solutions, sometimes you just need to be patient and persistent in the products you’re using and the perfect solution will make it to you. Just remember, not everyone’s the same and what works for some people just might not work for you and if there really was an absolute cure for this problem, I wouldn’t be writing this!
